The presents have been opened, the Christmas dinner (and leftovers) are gone - what next?
Many of us can feel at a loss in the days between Christmas and New Year's, where all the big events of the festive season have ended, but we still have one eye on the upcoming New Year's celebrations.
You could opt to spend the days between chilling on the sofa, watching movies and eating the remainder of the Christmas chocolate.

But if you're keen to get out and about, or do something a bit more productive with your days off, we've come up with a few ideas to help.
Head out on a winter walk
Even if we haven't had a White Christmas, getting out into the cold air can be a good way to help you feel more energised, so getting out for a long walk can be a good way to pass time.
We're lucky in Northern Ireland to have so many great spots to head to for a walk. See some of our festive favourites by clicking here.
Make the most of the sales
Now, after Christmas, going shopping may be the last thing you want to do. But at this time of year, there are some brilliant sales in shops on the high street.
Make a day of it and head out for a lunch, coffee, or even a few drinks during your shopping trip.
If you want to be really prepared and plan ahead for next year, make sure to keep an eye out for Christmas decorations - they're usually hugely reduced just after Christmas.
Play a board game
Let your competitive side out and challenge some family or friends to playing a few different board games.

Declutter
If you're really keen to be productive, have a clear out of old stuff to get prepared for the new year.
In the wake of Christmas, you've likely accumulated a range of extra belongings and so need some extra space.
A good place to start is to put any clothing you haven't worn in the past six months into bags ready to donate to your local charity shop.
It's important to be ruthless with kids toys, too. Anything broken, bin it. Anything still in good nick but no longer used? Box it up and get it ready to donate.
Binge a TV box set
If you're sick of re-runs on TV, why not watch a series you've been wanting to watch for ages?
Now is the chance to stick on that show you've maybe been wanting to watch but just haven't had the time, or have been putting it off throughout the year.
You'll even have time to watch all the Star Wars films if you fancy it.
Plan a trip
Whether it's a day trip or a full on holiday, get pro-active and start planning a list of what you'd like to do in the near future, or in the year ahead.
Some optimistic planning can work wonders and give you something to look forward to and there's plenty of places to explore in Northern Ireland, the UK and beyond. Your imagination is the limit.
