Six insane dogs achieving Guinness World Records - from longest tail to fastest rider

These gifted dogs impressed their owners and made names for themselves across the globe by achieving Guinness World Records.

Keon proved he was top dog with a tail longer than the average arm and Norman made history with his speedy scooter skills.

Adam Millward, Managing Editor of Guinness World Records, told The Mirror : "From skateboarding and surfing to saving lives and acts of dogged duty and devotion, we are constantly amazed by our four-legged friends' incredible abilities here at Guinness World Records.

"We celebrate pooches for their age, size and exceptional body features such as the longest ears – but also a multitude of hidden talents.

"As a life-long dog lover, it’s always a joy to recognize their paw-some feats."

Here are six Guinness World Records that have been knocked out of the park by canines:

Most skips by a dog in one minute

Geronimo skipped 91 times in one minute (Guinness World Records)

The most jump-rope skips by a dog in one minute is 91, by Geronimo, a two-year-old female Border Collie and Kelpie cross, achieved with her owner Samantha Valle (USA) on 13 May 2012.

Most dogs balancing a treat on nose

109 dogs balanced treats on their nose at the same time (Guinness World Records)

The most dogs balancing a treat on their nose is 109, achieved by The Link Management Limited (Hong Kong), in Stanley Plaza, Hong Kong, China, on 28 September 2014.

Most balls caught by a dog with paws in one minute

Purin caught 14 balls with her paws in one minute (Guinness World Records)

The most balls caught by a dog with the paws in one minute is 14 and was achieved by Purin and her owner Makoto Kumagai (both Japan) in Sakura, Chiba, Japan, on 22 March 2015.

Longest tail on a dog

Keon's tail measures 76.8 cm (Guinness World Records)

The longest tail on a dog measures 76.8 cm (30.2 in), achieved by Keon who is owned by Ilse Loodts (both Belgium), in Westerlo, Belgium, on 18 August 2015.

Largest dog yoga class

270 people took part in a dog yoga class (Guinness World Records)

The largest dog yoga class involves 270 participants and was achieved by Link Asset Management Limited (Hong Kong) in Stanley Plaza, Hong Kong, China on 17 January 2016.

Fastest 30 m on a scooter by a dog

Norman scooted 30m in just 20.77 seconds (Guinness World Records)

The fastest 30 m on a scooter by a dog was achieved in 20.77 seconds, and was achieved by Norman the Scooter Dog, owned by Karen Cobb (USA), at All Tournament Players Park, in Marietta, Georgia, USA, on 12 July 2013.
