Luján commended the upfront approach taken by the Harris campaign in addressing the issue, contrasting it with the handling of similar situations by Republican candidates, former President Donald Trump and Ohio Sen. JD Vance.
Senator Luján emphasized the importance of acknowledging and taking responsibility for incorrect statements. He pointed out the contrast in approach between the two political sides, highlighting the tendency for contradictions in statements made by the Republican candidates.
Regarding Walz's admission, Luján stressed the difference between the two sides and affirmed that there should be no doubt about Walz's service to the country.
In addition, Luján commented on a recent conversation between Elon Musk and former President Trump, suggesting that such interactions may impact Trump's chances of being reelected. He expressed confidence that the discussions involving Musk and Trump would serve to illustrate to the American people why the former president is unlikely to hold office again.
