Santa Claus would have felt right at home when he sailed into Kirkcudbright on Saturday.
The great man left Lapland to pay a visit to the Stewartry on a bitterly cold day.
But that didn’t stop him being greeted by cheering crowds when Gary McKie brought him to Kirkcudbright Harbour on Saturday lunch time.
He then followed piper Jim White to Greyfriars Church where its Winter Wonderland was in full swing.
Youngsters received presents from the great man and there was also a variety of stalls with members of the congregation, Kirkcudbright Inner Wheel and Kirkcudbright Rotary ensuring things ran smoothly.
