Sainsbury's have made the move to up the minimum cost for one of its most popular services - and shoppers are not happy about it.
The supermarket has been slammed on social media after upping the minimum charge for drivers to pump up tyres. It comes after ASDA, Tesco and Morrisons increased their prices for the service. It means that motorists will now be charged 50p for five minutes.
Previously the minimum spend stood at 30p for three minutes - an overall increase of 20- reports The Mirror.

Therefore, despite the minimum spend increasing the cost per minute remains the same - at 10p per minute.
Following the change, shoppers have taken to social media to share their reaction.
One Tweet read: "It has always been 30p. Now they hike it 66%. Same machine. Just a sticker over the price.
"OK, it’s a small thing. But there are so many opportunistic price rises happening now."
A spokesperson from Sainsbury's said: "Back in July, we started offering customers five minutes rather than the previous offer of three minutes, with each minute remaining at 10p per minute.
"This is in line with the wider market offering and based on customer feedback."
The AA recommends that drivers should check their tyre pressure every due weeks to make sure they are not over or under inflated as both could be dangerous.
