Rugby players have to prepare for the physicality of their sport, but that usually comes while playing against other people. Players are not prepared to deal with loose bulls on the field, but that is exactly what two Super League teams faced on Friday.
Before a match between St. Helens and the Catalans Dragons, a bull found itself running wild on the field. Players had to stop their warmups to avoid the animal, while the bull’s handler was actually dragged as the Bull ran around.
Eventually, the bull slowed down and rejoined its handlers, luckily avoiding any harm to both he and the players.

In a statement released before the game, Catalans explained that owner Bernard Guasch organized a parade involving three bulls and two cows to celebrate beef quality in the area.
This is possibly the most Catalan thing that's ever happened at Stade Gilbert Brutus.
