It all kicks off this evening as Damien prepares for a meeting about the foreman’s job.
James Rafferty, who is the developer’s son, offers Damien the job of project manager for the new development.
Damien worries he doesn’t have the experience for the project manager role but Mairead encourages him to take the job offer.
Elsewhere, Carol is taken aback by Orla’s show of gifts in Nora’s hospital room.
As Orla learns that Nora may need a hip replacement due to her injuries, Doug continues to keep quiet about his role in the accident.
Meanwhile, when Carol learns of the money given by Orla, she questions her about it.
Orla insists that the money is not an attempt to pay Nora off.
Later on, Pete sees Carol grilling Ray about the accident but she then looks on as he warns Doug to stay shtum.
After everything adds up, Carol tells Nora she suspects health and safety was lacking at the garage but Nora begs her not to stir up trouble.
There’s more drama across the road as Tommy lies to Zak about Olwen.
Zak probes a tight-lipped Cass for information and Zak hints to Olwen that he knows about the cannabis plants.
