The Baltimore Ravens made a major splash on Sunday evening, signing free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year contract. The team has been looking for wide receiver help for a long time, and Beckham should be able to provide that, granted that his age and health don’t get in the way.
After the signing was reported and announced, contract details began coming out on the specifics of the deal. Beckham’s agreement will reportedly be worth up to $18 million dollars, with $15 million in guarantees. Baltimore had around $6 million in cap space before the signing of Beckham, so it still remains to be seen how the team will accommodate the deal.
