The MLB All-Star Game isn’t just a moment for baseball’s best players to take center stage in the middle of American sports’ slowest stretch. It’s also an opportunity for host city Seattle to shine.
That’s why T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners and backdrop of the All-Star break, is leveling up its game for the festivities. With a wide range of first-time visitors and baseball fanatics flocking to the Pacific Northwest, the stadium is going hard to offer patrons a new, unique lineup of concessions with a local flavor. It won’t just be hot dogs and Dippin’ Dots in Seattle; it’ll be seafood and craft beer and cured meats.
T-Mobile Park is offering a host of food and drink options at vendors throughout the concourses. But their vendors highlighted eight options in advance of the All-Star Game in a press release sent out last week. Most of them look pretty good, even if some aren’t really ballpark food.
So which of these would I pick off the menu in order to round out my $75 ballpark meal?

Furikake Pretzel Mix
It’s pretzels. No one is getting excited about pretzels unless they’re soft, the size of your head and served with a tankard of beer cheese.
Also, furikake is a seasoning mix of dried fish, seaweed, sesame, salt, pepper and MSG. There is no way your breath smells like anything other than a Superfund site by the time you’re done here.

Pale Stout and Cracker Jack Ice Cream
A local brewery AND a legit baseball tie-in? Sounds awesome. A little salted caramel and some roasted malt should be great together.

Footlong Dungeness Crab Roll
I’m not even a crab guy, but this looks awesome. And it’s big, so you’re getting at least decent mileage for your money.
