Prince Harry has been branded 'delusional' after an excerpt from his interview with NBC's Today show was released.
During the chat with Hoda Kotb, the father-of-two spoke about his recent visit to the UK where spent time with his grandmother.
The Duke of Sussex claimed he is making sure the Queen has "the right people around her" to "protect" her and said that it felt great being back with Her Majesty but insisted the US was now his "home" - for the time being.
In the short clip, Harry told the host of his joy at being back in his grandmother's company and revelled in making her laugh.
He told the host: "Being with her, it was great. It was just so nice to see her … She’s on great form.
"She's always got a great sense of humour with me and I'm just making sure she's protected and got the right people around her."
Hoda went on to tell Harry how it's common knowledge he has a habit of making the Queen laugh and asked if he was able to again.
With a smile on his face, he nodded as he responded: "Yes, I did. Both Meghan and I had tea with her and it was really nice to catch up with her."
However, after watching the teaser clip many viewers were quick to slam Prince Harry for his choice of words.
One person fumed: "Prince Harry is delusional. HM should strip and his wife of their titles altogether. He epitomises the "me, me, me" generation of woke, virtue signalling narcissists."
Someone else tweeted: "Delusional and making himself (more of) a laughing stock. #PrinceHarry."
Another wrote: "Harry is delusional. Was Prince Harry protecting The Queen when he called her a bad mother, sued her government, trashed her and her family on TV, and said she had no jurisdiction over for the word Royal?. All while her husband lay dying in hospital."
A different person tweeted: "She has been fine for the last 96 years without his help. He is delusional thinking he can do anything to "protect" her from California. #princeharry."
But others were quick to show their support for Prince Harry and his recent trip to Windsor Castle.
One person tweeted: "So pleased Prince Harry had an audience with the Queen on his way to the Hague, to check if her Majesty was being protected and had the right people around her."
