Primark fans 'obsessed' with Bratz range that takes them back to 00s childhood

With 90s and 00s trends returning to the high street right now, it was only a matter of time before Primark released its own throwback range. The high street giant is giving shoppers a bit of much-needed nostalgia with its new Bratz collection, based on the dolls with a 'passion for fashion' that took the world by storm back in the day.

In an Instagram post this week, Primark shared a photo of the items and wrote: "Channel your inner 00s with our new Bratz collection. Prices from £3." Shoppers have been going crazy for the new products, which include a fleece blanket, pink animal print lip-shaped cushion, notebooks, pencil case, stationery, water bottle and even an Airpod case, phone case and phone charm.

One comment read: "I've been waiting so long for this", while another shopper said they were "buying everything". Many people were tagging childhood friends in comments.

One Primark fan told their friend: "I think your bank account is going to take a serious hit" with another follower writing: "I remember the days when we were obsessed with Bratz". And it seems like the new range, which features the Bratz logo and images of the likes of Yasmin, Cloe and Sasha, is already proving a huge hit.

Some customers had already bought a few of the items from their local Primark stores, however others were having trouble finding any stock at all in their nearest branches. One shopper commented: "Shame every Primark I've been in doesn't have it" and another asked if the range was being sold in other countries too.

Mainly, though, most shoppers were simply left speechless by the blast from the past, with many comments simply saying: "OMG." It comes after Tammy Girl made a return online via ASOS, bringing back 90s and 00s teen fashion complete with an inflatable bubble tote bag.

What are your thoughts on all of the 90s/00s nostalgia in shops right now - is it much needed, or should we all be grown ups and move on? Let us know in the comments below.
