As Canadians start experiencing cooler weather in the coming months, one Canadian airline is expanding its service to include news stops to warm, beachy destinations in Florida.
Porter Airlines is adding seven new routes to four different Florida locations. Airports in Toronto and Ottawa, Ontario will now fly to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Fla.

These new routes to the Sunshine State will start flying being Nov. 1 and Dec. 13. Passengers will climb aboard one of Porter’s Embraer E195-E2 planes and experience what the airline’s website calls an “elevated economy” flight.

For those traveling from Canada to the U.S., Porter already serves several East Coast and Midwest cities, including Boston, Chicago, New York (Newark), South Carolina, and Washington and Myrtle Beach.
Porter’s fleet of planes has grown since 2021, when the airline purchased dozens of brand-new jets to add to its fleet. The $5.82 billion dollar order is now being used for one of the continent’s most popular tourist destinations.
