Plans to convert a former Edinburgh city centre restaurant into a new pilates and yoga studio have been lodged with the council.
The proposed new business would sit in Atholl Place, in the heart of the New Town.
The new plans, by Pointe Ahead Pilates, will completely convert the old restaurant into the new pilates and yoga centre. The bar will be converted into a new reception and welcoming area and the plans show space for multiple studios across the two floors of the building.

The proposed plans show that the new yoga studio will have at least five different studios, two on the ground floor and three on the first floor.
On the first floor will be a soft room, a Mat studio and even a massage room while on the first floor will be a private studio and a reformer studio.
Entering through the former bar of the old take out restaurant, on the ground floor will also be a waiting area for people before they go in for their classes of private workshops.
If the plans go ahead, the new studio will be open Monday to Friday from 7am until 9pm and from 8am until 4pm on the weekends.
The proposal also says that they will run social events with taster classes so people can try the classes, check out the facilities and even enjoy a glass of champagne afterwards.
In their application, Point Ahead Pilates said: “To enhance the community feel, we will run occasional social events where clients can join taster classes to experience the various equipment and then enjoy a glass of champagne.
“Eventually we would also like to add a Barre and Bubbles class to the schedule as the perfect way to get ready for the weekend. The existing property holds an alcohol licence which we would look to retain.
“The property is well served by public transport routes from all parts of the City and from further afield, being within short walking distance to Haymarket station. On street parking is readily available within surrounding streets for any car users.”
However, the proposed plans have not yet been approved. The public is still open to comment on the new development and the council will give their determination for the new business on August 5.
