Police were in for a surprise this morning when they pulled over a suspected drunk driver, only to find the man's car was missing an entire WHEEL.
Officers from the North West Motorway Policing unit rushed to the M60 in the early hours of Saturday morning, April 2, after a call from a member of the public reported a car swerving between lanes on the motorway.
A patrol responded and were finally able to pull the vehicle to a stop on Princess Parkway, where they were able to speak with the driver and asked him to give a roadside breath-test,

Officers allegedly found the man was over twice the legal drink-driving limit, blowing a reported reading of 91, versus the legal limit of 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
They also discovered extensive damage to the man's car, with one front wheel missing a tyre, and the other missing the entire wheel. Officers posted pictures of the damaged vehicle to the North West Motorway Police Twitter account, alongside a summary of this morning's events.
It read: "Call recieved early hours of a vehicle swerving lane to lane on the M60 - vehicle finally stopped on Princess parkway. Driver blew 91 at the scene, Think we can all see why he was struggling to keep car in a straight line along with the alcohol intake."
