Detectives are looking for a man after £13,000 was stolen following a series of cashpoint robberies in south London.

The suspect approached an unknown man at a cash point outside Sainsbury’s on Southend Lane in Bell Green on Friday, 23 September.

The robber distracted the victim before barging him out of the way, stealing his bank card and making off in his vehicle.

The victim, aged in his 70s, later discovered that two transactions worth £8,000 had been made using his card.

Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.

The individual is also linked to three other robberies in Lambeth, Belvedere and Bromley in which bank cards were stolen at ATMs outside supermarkets.
