Most kids like pizza don't they?
Well actually no they don't. And with one child who does and another who doesn't, that somewhat explains why we've never taken our children to eat at Pizza Hut before.
However, with the restaurant chain offering a number of deals this summer, we decided to give it a whirl.

Arriving too late for the iconic 'all you can eat' buffet, they instead opted for the kids meal deal and with a choice of dishes on the menu, it was a better choice for obvious reasons.
There's Little Boss for ages seven and under and then Big Boss for ages eight to 12.
Both come with salad, a main, a drink and a dessert, with the addition of a side for the older ones.
While my pizza-loving son chose a margherita with a side of garlic bread, my daughter went for the southern fried nuggets and fries.
Other choices include a pizza with any two toppings, spaghetti bolognese with cheese, breaded chicken strips and fries, or cheesy pasta.
It was all decent grub. The pizza was a bit on the small size, but aged 11, my lad has become more accustomed to ordering from the adult menu of late and once you've gone there, it's tricky to go back.
With the addition of some chicken bites that came as a side order to my own main - a BBQ Americano pizza - he was pretty full.
Obviously he still had room for the dessert and both were keen to make their way over to the 'Ice Cream Factory' to create their own concoction.
It sounds more elaborate than it is. It was actually just a small space in the corner of Manchester city centre's Corporation Street branch where they can pull the lever to fill their bowl with Mr Whippy ice cream and then add the sauces and sprinkles of their choosing.
But it's surprising how something so simple can make kids so happy and they were more than pleased with their efforts.
If your little one isn't a fan of ice cream then both menus have raspberry ice (crushed ice) as another option, and the Big Boss has chocolate brownie on offer too.
The real money-saver comes with the drinks, as not only are they 'bottomless', but there's a wider range than you typically get with these kids meal deals - with children able to use the touchscreen machine to choose from Robinsons squash, Tango, 7 Up or Pepsi. Or they can ask for a choice of apple/orange juice, milk, or a Fruit Shoot.
All in all, it's not a bad deal. My own came in at a pricier £16.99 for the pizza and chicken bites, but that was with a bottomless soft drink too.
Yet having sampled the unlimited buffet a few years back, I think that's definitely the way forward now that we're seemingly growing out of kids' portions.
My son can then get as much pizza as he wants and it'll only cost £1 more as it's £8.99 and that includes salad, bottomless drinks and the Ice Cream Factory. For adults it's £12.99.
The kids meals might be boss, but I think the buffet is pretty much unbeatable - you've just got to eat before 3pm to take advantage of it. That's not so hard in the school holidays.
