A person has been airlifted to hospital after they fell approximately 15 feet into a Scots gorge.
Lomond Mountain Rescue Team (LMRT) raced to Campsie Glen, near East Dunbartonshire, shortly after midday on Monday, May 30.
There, they took part in a multi-agency rescue operation which involved carrying out a complex lifting task to remove the individual.
The casualty was then rushed to hospital via air ambulance. The nature and extent of their injuries is not currently known.
LMRT thanked Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS), the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) and SORT.
They also thanked the Coastguard Helicopter Rescue 199 from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the Scottish Air Ambulance.
Lomond MRT added: "Best wishes to the casualty for a swift recovery from all at Lomond MRT."
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.47am on Monday, May 30 to reports of a casualty who had fallen down an embankment close to Lennoxtown, East Dunbartonshire.
"Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene, where firefighters worked with their partners to bring the casualty to safety.
"The casualty was thereafter taken to hospital by paramedics."
