Suspense is building as Ireland is set to face Wales in their first match of the Six Nations tournament on Saturday.
The lead up to the game has brought great excitement to rugby fans as the restrictions on attendance have been lifted, and people look forward to heading to the games as they would have done in pre-pandemic times.
However, one Twitter user has delighted some loyal rugby enthusiasts as she shared a match day fashion segment shown on Ireland AM in 2018.
She said: “Ireland AM fashion bit on what to wear to the match. They hired a stylist for this.”
She added: “As much as I was taking the p*** out of this, a lot of people were clearly watching. Literally thousands showed up at the match wearing this.
“I just took it at a weird angle. His legs were normal size”.
The snap showed a man and a woman dressed in Ireland jerseys along with hats and jackets.
The post gathered lots of attention as people laughed at the obviousness of the fashion choice.
One person said: “This is a necessary service. How else would people know to wear a jersey to a match?”
A second said: “This made me laugh ..a lot…”
While a third simply commented: “Hilarious.”
Others joked that the show should cover other events in their what to wear segment to help people make the difficult decision.
They said: “When can Ireland am have a fashion bit on what to wear to a wrestling show I would volunteer to be on Ireland am wearing a Terry Thatcher wrestling t shirt”.
