Paddy McGuinness has revealed he sought help from his friend Jamie Redknapp while shopping for shoes for his children.
Top Gear star Paddy, 48, thanked his pal for "hooking him up" as she posted a video of a huge stack of shoe boxes being carried by a Sports Direct worker.
In the clip, which Paddy shared to his Instagram page, the Phoenix Nights star films the shop worker carrying a tower of shoe boxes from the shop floor to the till for Paddy.
From behind the camera, Paddy was clearly impressed with the shop worker's skills as he said: "Look at this guy. Go on son, I love it!"
"Kids shoes," Paddy added while the retail worker made his way towards the checkout. The shoe box at the top of the pile then toppled over on to the floor and Paddy said: "Sketchers are going. I'll have Jamie Redknapp on the phone, what's going on," in reference to Jamie's campaign with Sketchers.
He then zoomed into the fallen box before the camera cut out. As Paddy shared the video with his 2million followers, he gave a shout out to the Sports Direct worker and his pal Jamie, 49.
Paddy wrote in the caption: "Our 3 kids are going through growth spurts!
"Two at 9 and one coming up for 6! Including their school shoes, PE and everyday footwear we’re up to 12 pairs!!!!
"It’s times like this when my heart goes out to centipedes," Paddy quipped.
He then shared his gratitude as he wrote: "Big up to the staff at @sportsdirectuk Macclesfield for helping me out. That was a lot of packing near closing time on a Sunday. PS when you hooking me up @jamie.redknapp".
Paddy then ended the caption with the hashtags #weekend #kids #shoes #growingupfast #sunday #holidays.
Jamie was quick to comment on Paddy's post about the fallen Sketchers as he joked: "Pick those up sharpish big man! And get them in the bag".
It comes amid Paddy's marriage woes with his wife Christine McGuinness, who hopes to deal with their issues in private.
Christine, 34, admitted she was "all over the place" and feeling "raw" as she and Paddy are going through a "very, very difficult time".
Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine and Paddy first sparked concerns over their marriage when he failed to support her at The Games. Later, Christine took a solo trip, and cryptically discussed "following her heart".
Since then, Christine has been honest about her marriage as she said: "What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and the same for him."
She added to The Sun: "I can't lie we're having a very, very difficult time."
Although Christine was reluctant to go into detail about the issues within their marriage, she insisted she "didn’t cause this situation".
The couple have been together for 15 years and married for 11. They share three children, Penelope, Leo and Felicity together – all of whom have been diagnosed with autism.
