Owner of Bo'ness shop thanks locals for generosity following break-in

The owner of a shop in Bo'ness which was broken into over the weekend has thanked locals for their generosity.

Sweets n Things on Hope Street was robbed during the early hours of Saturday February 19.

A man managed to make off with some goods before being caught by a police dog a short time later.

The 27-year-old appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court earlier this week, and was jailed for 8-months.

Dawn Murray, who owns the shop, has taken to Facebook after offers of help from the community.

She said: "Following the break in to the shop (Sweets n Things) over the weekend, we would like to thank you all for your kind messages and offers of help.

"We are all tidied up now, glass replaced in the door and looking forward to catching up with our lovely customers.

"Thank you again."
