Our House viewers mock 'far fetched' Martin Compston drama as they pick at plot holes

ITV viewers tuning into the latest episode of Our House on Wednesday night were not impressed with the "far fetched" storyline.

The third instalment of the four-part series saw Bram Lawson's situation spiral out of control as he continued to be blackmailed into giving up his house.

Bram (Martin Compston) was involved in a hit-and-run in the first episode and decided to drive off - but didn't realise that he was being watched.

During the second episode he had a one-night-stand with a random woman named Wendy, but she ended up telling him that she knew about the accident and started blackmailing him.

As the situation worsened, Wendy (Buket Komur) asked to meet him and brought along a man called Toby who told Bram that they wanted his house.

As Bram gave into their demands and ended up being blackmailed into handing over more money, some viewers became frustrated with the storyline and took to Twitter.

One person tweeted: "Wouldn’t you just say report me, you’ve got a photo but your witnesses and you left the crime as well. Like I’m giving up a 2m home, losing my wife and kids for this. I’d even take the few years in prison if it came to it… #OurHouse."

A second person commented: "So you go to jail for a bit for the accident & leaving the scene & lose your licence & probably your job but at least you still have your family….why choose to pay blackmailers, put your family out on the street & never see them again?? #OurHouse."

A third viewer posted: "This is so far fetched and unreal! #OurHouse," and a fourth added: "Utter tripe. The plot is ludicrous now ffs #OurHouse."

Another viewer simply wrote: "Plot full of holes.#OurHouse."

Our House concludes on Thursday at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
