A new survey has revealed the best GP practices in Nottingham according to patients. Almost 50,000 questionnaire forms were given out at surgeries across the city and wider county for the GP Patient Survey 2022.
A total of 14,840 were returned and its findings were published on Tuesday, July 12. In the survey patients are asked about a range of topics, such as the helpfulness of staff, making appointments and out-of-hours services.
Patients were also asked about their overall experience at their surgery, with available answers ranging from 'very poor' to 'very good'. Welbeck Surgery was ranked highest in Nottingham.

The practice, based in Mansfield Road, Sherwood, received an approval rating of 93 per cent. 75 per cent of patients also said they had a good experience of making an appointment.
Sherrington Park Medical Practice came a narrow second, with 92 per cent of patients saying their overall experience of the Sherwood practice was good. Both Tudor House Medical Practice in Sherwood and the University of Nottingham Health Service also received high approval ratings of 87 per cent.

= Elmswood Surgery (Sherwood) - 78 per cent
