Nottingham High School has confirmed the "tragic" death of a Year 13 student. The school, in Waverley Mount near The Arboretum, confirmed the sad news in a statement.
In a statement issued on Monday, October 3, the school asked that the pupil's family, friends and teachers are respected as they "all come to terms with this tragic event". It is unclear when of where the pupil died.
Mr Kevin Fear, Headmaster at Nottingham High School, said: "Nottingham High School can confirm the death of a Year 13 student. No more details are available and we ask you to respect the child’s family, friends and teachers as we all come to terms with this tragic event."

Nottingham High School is an independent, fee-charging day school for boys and girls aged 4-18. It comprises an Infant, Junior School and Senior School. Year 13 is the last year of sixth form for pupils typically aged between 17 and 18.
