The North East is set for a sunny afternoon on Wednesday, though the day will start off with rain and cloud.
There's predicted to be heavy rain in the early hours of Wednesday morning, though that should have cleared by 7am. It's then a cloudy morning before an afternoon of sunshine and temperatures in the mid-teens.
Following a clear night, cloud is expected to roll in on Thursday, where it will remain for most of the day.

The Met Office said: "Windy with scattered heavy showers, perhaps thundery at first, especially across western hills. However, also some sunny spells, these more prevalent in the east.
"Very mild. Maximum temperature 17 °C."
