NFL Fans Had Lots of Jokes About Silly Aaron Rodgers-Bryce Young Graphic During Jets-Panthers

During NFL games, there are always various graphics comparing teams or players on opposing sides. Most of the time, these graphics show an interesting statistic to set the players apart, like how many career touchdowns or passing yards they have.

However, on Saturday’s preseason game between the Jets and the Panthers, fans couldn’t help but laugh at one of the graphics showing the differences between New York quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Carolina rookie signal-caller Bryce Young.

Since this was Young’s first NFL start (and a preseason one at that), and Rodgers is currently the oldest quarterback in the league, NFL Network opted to show the sharp statistical contrast of their careers.

At the end of the graphic, stats from Rodgers’s 2005 NFL debut are listed. But, since Young’s debut is this year, the graphics department decided to take a bit of a different approach. The statistical breakdown of Young’s NFL career said it began in “2001 (Life).”

Fans had lots of jokes about this wild choice to put Young’s birth year in comparison to the year Rodgers began his NFL career. Here are some of the social media reactions to it.
