Gluten-free grocery shopping in the south side is getting a glow-up.
Zucchini Greengrocers and Fine Foods has opened a speciality store offering organic, vegan and gluten-free food in Cathcart.
Located at 103 Clarkston Road, the new store swung open its doors to customers yesterday, on Friday, April 22, and we can't wait to head along.
In addition to selling fresh fruit and veg, Zucchini will also be serving up preserved items like jam and honey as well as delicious baked goods, including sourdough breads and pastries.
The new south side spot hopes to take the stress out of shopping with dietary restrictions in mind, so products in the store will be clearly labeled as gluten-free, vegan, organic, or dairy-free.
