New She-Hulk trailer: teases Bruce Banner, Emil Blonsky and plenty of action

In need of a lawyer? Don’t worry: Jennifer Walters is on the case and she’s about to serve some justice, superhero-style.

That’s right, Marvel’s new trailer for She-Hulk is out, and it looks like Bruce Banner’s cousin is about to get her life shaken up.

Titled She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the trailer introduces us to Walters, a high-flying lawyer who seems to have inherited some unwelcome genes from her famous cousin.

We meet the Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk as she is juggling her life with the demands of the job, including a promotion to the Superhero Law Division.

The trailer opens when she is on a tropical island, training with Banner in all things Hulk: she’s working out how to control her powers and how to get a handle on her strength by doing exercises like throwing giant rocks and pushing walls covered in razors.

Intriguingly, Tim Roth – who last appeared in The Incredible Hulk as antagonist Emil Blonsky, and who turns into mutated monster Abomination – also makes an appearance in the trailer. From the looks of it, although he’s also firmly behind bars, he’s going to pose a problem for Walters.

“I have a serious conflict of interest,” says Walters to her boss. “This man tried to kill my cousin Bruce.”

“Yeah, that’s quite alright,” replies the boss.

In another scene, Walters is walking through her office with a friend.

“People only care because I’m representing Emil Blonsky,” she says. Representing Blonsky? It’s a real twist that will catch Hulk fans off guard – really ramping up anticipation for the August release.

Cut to several clips of her saving civilians, attending a red carpet as She-Hulk, fighting people in the street, making new friends, navigating a love-life as a She-Hulk, plus a few glimpses of upcoming foes.

With all that to look forward to, fans took to social media to share their enthusiasm for the upcoming series.

“Marvel has yet to fail with their streaming shows. Besides the cgi I’m excited for She Hulk! Can’t wait to see how they showcase her for 9 episodes,” one fan wrote, while another weighed in.

“I’m with a lot of people here where I say that the CGI isn’t the best,” they wrote. “But honestly? I’m fine with that. This trailer looks like it’s embracing the more campy side of Marvel. And I’m *so* glad we’re getting that.”
