It's common for dog owners to be stopped in the street by strangers eager to stroke and meet their pet.
But not many people can say they've been asked if their dog is actually a dog.
Natasha Matson, 24, from Lincoln, has members of the public convinced that her puppy Winston is a human trapped in a dog's body.
The five-month-old ginger cockapoo has passersby questioning if he's really a person, as his adorable face and big green eyes appear human-like.
"Whether it's when we are out in public with Winston or people commenting on his photographs on social media, we always have people telling us that they are convinced Winston is a person and not a dog," Natasha said.

Natasha and her partner, Joe Holyhead, 24, brought Winston home as a puppy on Christmas Eve and set him up an Instagram account to document his doggy life.
They never imagine it would lead to so many peculiar comments online.
"People can't believe how much he looks like a human. It's hilarious," Natasha said.
"He regularly pulls human-like expressions, using his big green eyes, it actually looks like he's smiling at me or purposefully posing for a picture.
"The way that Winston lays on the sofa is funny too because it just looks like a person is sitting on the couch with us."
Natasha was instantly drawn to Winston's chocolate button nose and unique colouring, and says it "makes him look more human because it almost gives him a bit more structure to his face".
Cockapoo Winston enjoys all of the attention he gets when he is out and about, and has an ever-growing collection of clothing that makes him appear even less dog.
"When he is dressed in trendy human-like items of clothing, I think this also adds to him looking even more like a person," Natasha explained.
"We love to dress him in adorable outfits and he loves wearing them.
"It also means he gets even more attention when we are out on walks which is always a good thing for Winston."
Winston has fleeces, hoodies, jumpers and harnesses which he loves to wear.
His favourite thing to do is go on a woodland walk and play with other dogs.
"Winston is our son. He is so loving and all he wants to do is cuddle," Natasha said.
