The drama between Australian influencers Mikaela Testa and Anna Paul has reached new levels of intensity this week. Mikaela has uploaded six TikToks responding to Anna’s 26 minute rebuttal video, which itself addressed allegations Mikaela made in her Unsaid podcast. The back-and-forth between the former best friends has been messy, emotional, and full of receipts, with Mikaela’s latest responses adding even more fuel to the fire.

Animal neglect allegations
In one video Mikaela addressed Anna’s claims about her treatment of animals, particularly her cat Mikkel. Anna had accused Mikaela of dumping Mikkel at a shelter when he became a “minor inconvenience”. In response, Mikaela explained why she rehomed him:
“I loved Mikkel so much, and I tried to make it work for three years… He would attack me, and he’s done this since he was a kitten. I paid money and I took him to Cat Haven, which is the best-reviewed adoption centre for animals in Perth.”
She also doubled down on her allegations about Anna neglecting birds. “Bird experts can pull up photos from your father’s Instagram… that show clear signs of animal neglect,” Mikaela claimed.

The abs controversy
One of the most talked-about moments from Anna’s video was her claim that Mikaela lied about how she got her abs. According to Anna, Mikaela told fans she achieved her toned stomach through sit-ups when she had actually undergone surgery.
“Girls wanted to know, how did you get your abs? What did she say? Just do sit-ups. That’s what she said. When, in reality, she had a metal rod put into her stomach and they had abs carved out of her fat,” Anna claimed in her video.
Mikaela responded by explaining that this clip was taken out of context and that she had already clarified it years ago.
“This was a video that was taken out of context and I fixed it immediately, years ago… It’s common knowledge that I have surgery,” she explained.
“It’s like a 10-second clip of me saying all I have to do is a few sit-ups in the morning, and then I have abs the next day… People were taking it the complete wrong way.”
Mikaela didn’t hold back when discussing her close connection to the Paul family during her years-long relationship with Anna’s brother, Atis. She refuted Anna’s claim that she didn’t know the family well enough to comment on them:
“Anna, I lived with you and your family for almost three years. I know these people, and I know them very well. Your father and I have had many conversations where he has been upset about things going on in his life.”
She went into detail about Anna’s father, Hans Paul, alleging that he struggled financially despite Anna presenting a different narrative online.
“He sits at the Blue Water Grill in Hope Island, crying to employees there, dating girls from there, and telling them all sorts of things about how you guys treat him and how he doesn’t have money for food,” she claimed.
Mikaela also claimed that Hans was homeless during this time.
“Your father sleeps in the car park down the road from your house for the free Wi-Fi at the shopping centre where security kicks him out… If your father had money, he wouldn’t be doing DoorDash for a $3 delivery fee,” she said in the video.
She also mentioned how she still has a close relationship with Anna’s half sister Sarah Paul, who is Hans’ biological daughter.
Sarah recently shared on TikTok that she is in allignment with Mikaela. “I don’t think I need to share anything about my dad and about his other family that hasn’t already surfaced,” Sarah said in a TikTok earlier this week.
“One thing I truly wanted to come on here and say is, I 100 per cent stand with Mikaela Testa”, she added.
“Whatever happens for them [referring to her siblings] from here, it has nothing to do with [her].”

Mikaela brought up serious allegations about Anna’s brother Atis Paul, whom she dated for several years. She accused him of abusive behaviour during their relationship (which Atis has denied) and criticised Anna for staying silent about the allegations.
“Why don’t you address the abuse? Your brother abused me and Jemiah [who Mikaela claims is his ex-girlfriend].”
Manipulation claims
In another video Mikaela accused Anna of manipulating public perception and stealing aspects of her life story:
“You stole everything about me — my ideas, my upbringing story… You’ve never been in a homeless shelter talking about all this ‘Oh yeah, we were starving’,” she claimed.
She also alleged that Anna exploits vulnerable fans through giveaways tied to her OnlyFans account:
“Watching her fans scramble over scraps, fighting each other because they need these funds while she films it… flaunts her designer labels, endless holidays and material excess.”
