Jaffa Cakes are among of the UK's favourite biscuits - and it's not hard to understand why.
The three layered biscuit - or as some argue 'cake' - consists of a Genoise sponge base, a layer of orange flavoured jam and a coating of chocolate.
The sweet treats were first produced by McVitie's in 1927 but now a change is coming - one people have been waiting for.

This is because McVitie’s have officially announced the launch of a new limited edition White Chocolate version of their classic Jaffa Cakes, available exclusively via the @jaffacakesofficial Instagram from 11am on Thursday, April 28.
As reported by Hull Live, after years of requests for a white chocolate version of the nation’s favourite cake in the biscuit aisle, McVitie’s have created an limited-edition run of 40 packs of McVitie’s White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes with the company offering fans the opportunity to get their hands on pack via a competition on the official McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Instagram.
To enter, Jaffanatics simply need to head over to the official McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Instagram and like the competition post, and tag the person they’d most like to share a pack of McVitie’s White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes. Only 40 packs of two-White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes will be available, and the competition will run until May 2, with winners will be selected at random on Tuesday, May 3.
Alice Jamieson, Brand Manager at McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes said: “The Jaffanatics spoke, and we listened. We couldn’t be more excited to launch this competition and offer fourty lucky Jaffanatics the chance to see their Jaffa dreams come true and be the first to try our limited-edition White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes.”
