Man rushed to hospital after horror smash on Scots road sees Corsa pushed into house

Emergency services have rushed to a two-vehicle collision on a Scots road.

Police are currently in attendance at a crash on Greendykes Road in Dundee with around five police vehicles at the scene.

It is understood a black Volvo SUV has hit a Corsa in a head on smash as the impact caused the vehicle to be pushed into the front of a house.

One man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital following the incident. His condition is not yet known.

Photographs from the scene show a large emergency presence on the road.

The black Corsa can be seen sitting in someones garden with the rear of the motor just inches away from the front door.

A black Volvo SUV is directly in front with its bumper touching the other vehicle.

There does not appear to be major damage to the front of the house.

Officers say their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4pm on Thursday, April 21, police were called to the Greendykes Road area of Dundee, following a report of a road crash involving a car and a parked car.

"One man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital and enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing."
