A man had to leave his date without saying goodbye as her dietary restrictions left him confused and shocked. Renan Pacheco took to TikTok to reveal the details of his 'disaster' of a date whose admissions about her diet left him with 'no option' but to leave the date without a goodbye.
It is not totally abnormal to end a date early on if you both think it is not going too well, maybe one person is rude or you don't have anything in common. But one person has another couple of traits he would want added to that list as his comical TikTok portrays.
In the recent TikTok, the confused bachelor said: "I arrive at the restaurant, first of all her name's Kimberley, it's not my favourite name but it's fine, she's pretty, so we sit down and we take the menu and she looks me in the eyes and she tells me she doesn't eat gluten.
"You don't eat gluten, but how can you not eat gluten?
"Gluten is my life, gluten is croissant, gluten is baguette, how can you not eat gluten?
"So I'm starting to be confused, I'm not going to lie."
He decided not to overreact too much about his gluten-free date so he managed to chill out and get on with the date but there was another surprise just around the corner for the Frenchman during his recent date in Los Angeles with the American woman.
He ordered a glass of wine but was shocked by her next revelation which came as a result.
When he ordered the wine, she admitted to him that she does not drink either, much to the surprise of the wine-thirsty bloke who felt the pair were immediately incompatible.
He explained in the post: "How can you not drink alcohol in your life, Kimberley?
""Alcohol is joy... so I'm sorry, I'm sorry if I left, I left the restaurant without saying goodbye.
"I couldn't stay there, I'm sorry but I can't have a love relationship with someone who doesn't eat gluten and doesn't drink wine.
"I'm sorry, Kimberley."
Many were quick to find the clip hilarious as Renan explained his reasons for leaving the date..
One person wrote: "We need more date stories this is so hilarious."
While another jokingly penned: "You did the right thing, brother.
"I can understand gluten but alcohol... no, no, no... red flag."
