A man has been killed in a single vehicle crash on the outskirts of Darwin overnight.
In a statement, Northern Territory Police said the 22-year-old man died at the scene after his vehicle crashed on the Stuart Highway at Knuckey Lagoon, around 4am this morning.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Traffic diversions were in place between Lagoon Road and Tivendale Road earlier this morning, but police have said those are expected to lift about 10am.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
