The birth of a child is an exciting time for many couples - but it can also be a very long and strenuous process.
One dad-to-be came up with a solution to pass the time - playing on his gaming console - and it caused quite the stir online.
Preempting how long it could take for his son or daughter to arrive, the man in question decided to bring his entire gaming system to the hospital while his partner Amber was in labour for 21 hours.
Amber shared footage of her partner with her back to her, headphones on, playing a shooting game on her TikTok ( @amberscxtt ) in a video that has had 1.6 million views.

"My boyfriend brought his entire gaming system to the hospital during my 21-hour long induction," she wrote over the top of the video.
Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 45,000 likes and 3,200 comments from viewers who were divided on whether this was acceptable.
"Absolutely not," said one person.
Another wrote: "Wow. Red flag, friend."
A third commented: "I love my games but I’ve never attempted to do this got better things to worry about."
Someone else said: "I wouldn’t mind after labour but during is a different story."
But others were quick to defend him, as one person said: "I mean what ya wanted him to do? Sit there for 21 hours staring at her? She was probably more entertained watching him play... I would be."
And another viewer commented: "I went through a long induction process as well and I definitely wouldn’t have minded if my kid's father brought his game."
Amber assured unhappy viewers that it was "okay", as she "wasn't in any type of pain till 19 hours later when it was almost time to push."
"And for those 19 hours, I watched movies and browsed TikTok."
