It’s no secret that Married At First Sight (MAFS) couple Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly have not lasted after the experiment. In fact, it was pretty clear early on that their on-screen relationships was a complete dumpster fire. Then, after the two oddballs went rogue and began spilling season secrets left-right-and-centre, we quickly found out that they did not last after the show and that Jacqui hooked up with intruder groom Clint Rice.
However, as the pair flip-flopped from liking each other to hating each other in each episode, the jury was still out about how their on-screen relationship would actually end. Now, Ryan has spilled a bit of tea about what goes down between them during the final vows.
Taking to his rogue Instagram account, Ryan shared the MAFS promo for the upcoming final vows, captioning it with a very cheeky spoiler.
“Obvious spoiler: Jacqui was a bitch at final vows, I laughed, then I left. Yay,” he wrote, followed by a smiling and waving emoji.
While I understand that being on MAFS hasn’t always been a joy for Ryan, I just want to make it very clear that it’s never appropriate, kind or respectful to call a woman a “bitch”.
If we’re all being honest here, I think it’s an absolute miracle Jacqui and Ryan even made it to final vows. Each week, the pair have kept the drama alive by having almost constant arguments. Then, somehow, rock up to the dinner party arm in arm and smiling.
Even this week, both Jacqui and Ryan decided to meet their Plan B partners during the final week’s ‘grass is greener’ challenge. If that didn’t give them a cheeky hint on where their loyalties lay, then I don’t know what will.
It really does boggle the mind, doesn’t it?
Even though we know what the outcome is for these two wacky MAFS characters, I have to admit, I can’t wait to see how they handle final vows.
It’ll be a doozy, that’s for sure!
