Liam Llewellyn has told his fellow Islanders he "hasn't been giving 100% Liam" as he announced his decision to leave the show after just five days. WalesOnline previously reported Liam had quit Love Island and Friday's (June 10) episode confirmed the news. Former partner, Gemma Owen, said she felt "guilty" at Liam's early departure.
Liam, the son of a Welsh rugby legend, gathered his fellow Islanders around the firepit to tell them the news. He said: "I've been thinking long and hard about this, so yeah, I've made the decision that I am going to leave the villa." Following the news, the other Islanders were shocked and Amber Beckford started to cry. Ending an emotional speech, Liam told the others that the experience had been a "breathe" and that his Love Island adventure was "unreal."
Following the news, the Islanders all shared their thoughts about the 22-year-old. Andrew Le Page said "[they all] love Liam. It sucks for [them] but he has to do what's right for him." Tasha echoed these sentiments and shared her adoration for Liam.

Reacting on Twitter, former Love Island winner Amber Gill said: "Oh Liam my babes," as the masters student left the villa. She wasn't alone as viewers all stressed their devastation at Liam's early departure.
Another person said: "Sad to see Liam go" and claimed that Liam "deserved the world."
Liam's time on Love Island was not without heartbreak as his first pairing, Gemma, was picked by Davide Sanclimenti to become a new couple. This left Liam single and at risk of leaving the villa anyway.
