Love Island's Lana 'feels her heart's somewhere else' following Casey recoupling

Love Island's Lana Jenkin's opens up to her new partner Casey O'Gorman during tonight's installment of the hit reality TV programme and admits she 'needs time' with Ron.

Lana picked Casey to couple up with on Sunday night and it sent shockwaves through the villa with many of the other Islanders gobsmacked.

Ron Hall and Lana had been together since the ITV2 show launched last month, but separated and told each other they were keeping options open after Ron's head started to turn towards other girls.

As Lana and Casey catch up later, she says: “I do still feel like my heart’s somewhere else.”

Lana goes onto say: “I need to maybe have my time with Ron, I recoupled with you for a reason, I think you’re amazing, I think you’re really handsome and you’re such a great guy.”

Lana and Ron get close again at the fire pit as Casey watches on (ITV)

Clarifying, Casey asks: “Is it still that you’re unsure of your decision and you still want to….”

Elsewhere, the Villa receives a text letting them know that The Hideaway Retreat is open and they must pick a couple to spend the night.

The girls excitedly head into the dressing room as they cheerfully chant: “Hideaway! Hideaway! Hideaway! Hideaway!”

Meanwhile, in the bedroom one of the boys jokingly says: “Go on, get your gladiator pants on.”

Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
