Love Island fans have been left furious with Tanya Manhenga over her treatment of fellow Islander Shaq Muhammad when an explosive Movie Night saw the pair argue about her behaviour in Casa Amor.
In a preview for Friday's instalment, Shaq apologises to Tanya for losing his head during the classic Love Night night where the Islanders get to see clips of what everyone has been getting up to.
The villa watched a clip of Tanya kissing Martin Akinola but she refused to accept any responsibility for her actions when Shaq called her out for "lying" to him.
On Friday, Shaq and Tanya come together after their Movie Night disagreements as Shaq says to Tanya: “The way I feel about you isn’t like how I’ve felt about anyone else before.
"It’s too special to give up because the way I feel about you doesn’t come around very often in life or in general. I want to work through stuff with you.”
As the conversation continues, Shaq tells Tanya: “If you’re willing to take responsibility for how you were last night, I’ll take responsibility for how I was last night.”
Tanya replies: “Yes, I shouldn’t have shouted at you," and Shaq adds: “I’m sorry for how I spoke to you as well.”
Tanya jokes: “You should be.”
Shaq goes on to tell Tanya: “When I’m here with you, it just feels right.”
Love Island fans will no doubt be furious with Tanya as viewers have already made their feelings clear on the Islander by blasting her for "gaslighting" Shaq.
ONe wrote: "Tanya is so full of herself. Her attitude is annoying and she doesn’t deserve Shaq. he has been nothing but loving to her and all she does is embarrass and gaslight him. GIRL BE FOR REAL #loveisland."
"The producers really need to step in and give Tanya a warning for her blatant gaslighting. If it was the other way round, Shaq would’ve been gone! #Loveisland," another said while a third tweeted: "The issue I have with Tanya is her lack of self awareness. Shaq is literally at his breaking point and she still thinks she has mouth? She’s Scary. #loveisland."
"Tanya is horrible. What she did in my opinion isn't even that bad, the show is about exploring other connections and seeing what sticks. But she totally disregards Shaqs feelings and makes him feel like he's in the wrong when he raises his concerns. #TALKSWITHASH #loveisland," another added.
Love Island airs on ITV2 tonight at 9pm.
