Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball took to Instagram to wish his girlfriend, Ally Rossel, a happy birthday.
The former No. 2 overall pick posted a series of Instagram Stories for Rossel. In one of his posts, he noted getting older can be “a little scary” for everyone. But in another, he added that she has nothing to worry about because he “ain’t Leo” — which is seemingly a shot at actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Ball, who is recovering from a knee injury, is likely suggesting that he isn’t going to break up with Rossel just because she has turned another year older.

Several years ago, Slate’s Christina Cauterucci observes that DiCaprio’s public dating life has not included any women older than 25 years old.
This point was also illustrated in an infographic on Reddit, and the trend has continued even as recently as a few months ago. That’s the thing about Leo’s girlfriends, man. He gets older. They stay the same age.
The NBA player isn’t the first person to make such a joke about DiCaprio.
Ricky Gervais called DiCaprio out for the same reason at the Golden Globes in 2020, and Amy Schumer blatantly dragged DiCaprio for his dating history while she was co-hosting the Oscars earlier this year.
