Fashion store ARKET which opened in Liverpool ONE in autumn 2018 is set to close its doors ‘within a matter of weeks’.
According to LBN Daily, the fashion outlet, which is a subsidiary brand of popular fashion chain H&M, will close its doors for the final time very soon. Located on 91-92 Paradise Street, the store is known for its sustainable fashion items.
The store announced the Liverpool opening in spring 2018 and opened its doors in autumn of the same year. It took the brand’s UK store count to five, with the first one being on London’s Regent Street in August 2017.

Split over two floors, the Liverpool ONE ARKET store includes a vegetarian café and clothing for women, men and children. There is also a homeware section on the ground floor.
Speaking to the ECHO back when the store first opened, creative director Ulrika Bernhardtz, said: "We entered the UK with two great central locations in London last autumn, followed by an opening in East London earlier this year.
"Liverpool ONE is an innovative and inspiring shopping destination and we feel very excited about the opportunity to meet new customers and to expand or presence in the UK."
An ARKET spokesperson has confirmed its closure.
