Liverpool John Lennon Airport jobs you can apply for right now

A number of roles are on offer for several different companies at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Over 3,000 people work at the airport across its various areas of operations, which include commercial, marketing and terminal operations.

Currently roles are on offer working for the airport itself and for businesses based both in and around it.

The Premier Inn at the airport has several vacancies, while the branches of Subway and Boots inside the terminal are also looking for new staff.

Below, we list the roles currently available at the airport.

Cleaning Supervisor at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £23,500 per annum

Closing date: February 20

The job listing reads: “As a working supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring your team consistently meet our high cleaning standards, ensuring cleaning schedules and planned regimes are carried out across the airport site, whilst ensuring the safety of our passengers and our colleagues.

“The successful candidate will supervise and work as part of a team across the airport site, covering public terminal areas, airfield offices, outdoor car parks, various retail units and offsite offices.

“Duties will include but not limited to; planning and allocating daily tasks, staff training, internal audits, maintain accurate recording logs, become an expert in all equipment used onsite, stock/uniform monitoring/ordering and managing deliveries, colleague performance evaluation, managing team roster/annual leave and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

“You will be responsible for co-ordinating the cleaning of spillages and leaks, emptying bins, glass and chrome cleaning, snow gritting, dusting, filling up consumables, reporting faults internally, collection of baggage trolleys and toilets and floor cleaning using specialised equipment and any other ad-hoc duties that may arise.

“Co-ordinating and undertaking deep cleaning of all areas at various levels is to be carried out according to periodic schedules. This is a fast-paced environment and can be a physically demanding role at times.”

Kitchen Team Member at Premier Inn

Contract: Part time, 18 hours a week

Wage: £9.65 per hour

The job listing reads: “You will be at the heart of making sure every guest has the best possible experience, by preparing, cooking, and presenting delicious meals with every order.”

It continues: “Some experience would be great (especially if you’ve been a kitchen porter, night kitchen porter, or something similar) but it isn’t essential. It’s more about what you bring as a person.

  • Top-notch organisation and a keen eye for detail.

Customer Advisor at Boots
