Windy weather is set to continue in Merseyside as the Met Office predicts gale force winds over 40mph.
Yesterday the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for wind as Storm Franklin battered Liverpool and Wirral.
Winds reached 71mph in the city on Monday, February 21, and caused several trees to fall and trains to be cancelled.

Although there isn't a weather warning in place on Thursday, February 21, Merseyside is predicted to see winds of up to 44mph.
The day will start off windy with heavy rain and change to sunshine by 12pm, according to the Met Office.
