Both Liverpool and Manchester United fans showed their support to grieving Cristiano Ronaldo in a powerful Tuesday night message.
Two of English football's biggest names took to Anfield for a massive Premier League meeting with the Anfield men eyeing up a chance to go top of the table.
But Ronaldo was understandably out of the United squad after the sad passing of his baby boy on Monday.
In his absence both sets of fans united in a seventh-minute applause to show support for the United attacker and his family.
And the home fans then sang club anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" in a poignant moment of solidarity.
United manager Ralf Rangnick told Sky Sports: “It’s the worst thing that can happen, I’m the father of two sons myself.”
In a joint statement on social media Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez said this week: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.
"Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
"We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.
"We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.
"Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."
