Lebanon's Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued a directive for school closures in areas affected by the recent escalation of conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The ministry stated that school directors in regions experiencing tensions, acts of war, or conditions that hinder parents from sending their children to school must close their institutions and notify students and educational authorities.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified in recent days, with both sides engaging in significant exchanges of fire. Hezbollah launched numerous rockets and missiles into Israel overnight, reaching further into Israeli territory than in previous attacks.
According to the militant group's second-in-command, the current situation represents 'a battle without limits' that is unfolding.
