With MSI kicking off today, there’s just enough time for one more League of Legends patch to smooth things out and make some adjustments to certain champions before the event. On top of that, there’s an expanded emote wheel being introduced and some changes to the behavioral systems. Not to mention, topping it all off with a look at some upcoming skins and chromas.
We’ll run down the full LoL 13.9 patch notes so you know what’s going on.
Neeko midscope update – LoL 13.9
With Shapeshift she’ll now be able to transform into anything with a health bar, allowing for some unique interactions with certain NPCs and Champions out on the battlefield. Her ultimate has seen some changes too, with it now being much easier to hit and far more reliable in battle. The trade-off for this is a small downgrade in terms of cooldown and damage.
Champions buffed – LoL 13.9
Aside from Neeko’s changes, there are a couple of other Champions that have received some smaller buffs:
- Jinx
- Sion
Champions nerfed – LoL 13.9
Then there are the champions that have been slightly nerfed:
- Aatrox
- Amumu
- Swain
- Trundle
- Volibear
Emote wheel expanded – LoL 13.9
Things have been changed so you have access to more emotes and can deploy them easier. Common reactions like Ace and First Blood have been moved to their own wheel, so you now have more space on the dedicated emote wheel. Plus, you can now search for any emote you own.
Inkshadow skins and chromas – LoL 13.9
Finally, the next wave of skins has been unveiled, with several champions getting Inkshadow looks. This theme, as the name suggests, is quite dark, with the energy surrounding it looking like ink on a page.
Here are the champions getting these skins:
- Aurelion Sol
- Kai’Sa
- Master Yi
- Udyr
- Volibear
- Yasuo
- Yone
