Lauren had planned to have an at-home birth earlier this month, but was taken to a delivery suite via an ambulance to give birth on July 8.

After explaining how the "baby’s head was coming out" during the ride to the hospital, Lauren went on to recall her labour with her second daughter.

"I was taken into a private room and when the baby was being born the room started to fill with doctors. They said she had a low heart rate and took her to the side," Lauren told The Sun.

"Ten doctors started working on her. They were doing chest compressions and giving her adrenaline."

She then went on to share the heartbreaking moment her partner Charles Drury - who is the father of her eldest child Larose - pleaded with doctors to save their second child.

"Charlie was in pieces, he was screaming, 'Please save my baby'," Lauren recalled to the publication.

She went on the explain how a midwife reassured her baby Lorena would be okay, but shortly afterwards doctors told the star her daughter had sadly died.

In the same interview, Lauren revealed she is having a post-mortem on her baby daughter Lorena in a bid to find out exactly why she died for her "own sanity".

The grieving mother also explained how she wants to speak with other parents going through a similar experience and reassure others they are not alone.

Lauren - who recently put on a brave face for eldest daughter Larose's first birthday - announced the death of her second child on Instagram on July 10.
