A residential interior design and architecture firm is marking its 35th anniversary by moving to a new studio in Birmingham city centre.
Kitchen Gallery has launched the new base on the first floor of the Mailbox complex and is also expanding its offer to provide a service for the entire home to include kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices and other space.
The new 3,500 sq ft base in the mixed-use complex is the result of a £500,000 investment by the firm which launched in 1987 trading exclusively with German kitchen manufacturer SieMatic.
It has since grown to become one of the largest SieMatic dealers in the Midlands and also has further brand partnerships with household names in the interiors and appliances field such as Bora and Siemens.
This new showroom in the Mailbox has a display space featuring SieMatic kitchen designs alongside other appliances and technology, a space for clients to visualise projects and a design studio for the company's three interior architects to work.
Kitchen Gallery, which also has a showroom in Solihull, was previously on the ground floor of the Mailbox for six years prior to the move.
Director Tahir Mahmood said: "Kitchen Gallery has gone from strength to strength over the last 35 years and we are extremely proud of our longstanding partnership with SieMatic.
"Our new studio and showroom on the first floor of Mailbox is perfectly placed and we've seen an increase in footfall since we have opened as people are drawn in by the luxury and beauty of the display space. As we move into 2023 and beyond, we'll be focusing on expanding our interiors offering by providing complete solutions for homes.
"We've seen a real increase in demand for curated spaces across bedrooms, bathrooms, boot/utility rooms and home offices as people opt for improving their property's design and configuration rather than moving out and facing heavy stamp duty tax and mortgage rate hikes.
"We're expecting a really prosperous 2023 and look forward to exploring new brand partnerships with Sangiacomo and Cosentino, as well as developing our kitchen offering with SieMatic and partners."
