Kilmarnock's pantomime will have 'accessible' performances this year.
The run of Snow White shows at the Palace Theatre will include a relaxed performance and a signed performance ahead of Christmas.
The relaxed pantomime will be stripped of loud bangs, smoke and some of the constraints that go hand in hand with a normal theatre setting, like being confined to your seat. The theatre lights will also be up too.
The relaxed performance will take place on Saturday, December 10 at 10.30am and the signed performance for people with hearing impairments who know BSL (British sign language) is on Thursday, December 1 at 6.30pm.
A spokesperson for East Ayrshire Leisure said: "East Ayrshire Leisure is delighted to offer accessible performances as a staple of their panto run.
"A relaxed performance is the same great panto but much more accessible to people who might normally avoid the panto because of loud bangs, smoke and some of the constraints that go hand in hand with a normal theatre setting, like being confined to your seat.
"Patrons don’t have to worry about staying in their seats or making noise, in fact there will even be a break out area if the theatre setting gets to be too much or the baddie gets too scary, where you can take a break and head back in when you feel like it."
