Katie Price's ex Kieran Hayler takes legal action after she compares him to Jimmy Savile

Katie Price has taken a savage swipe at her ex Kieran Hayler after comparing him to Jimmy Savile on social media.

The former glamour model took to her Instagram Stories after watching a Netflix documentary about the evil paedophile, and penned the shocking comparison.

She told her 2.7million followers the documentary had 'brought back memories' and then added a picture of an article on Kieran, 35.

The article read that Kieran was set to be questioned by police officers over three historic sexual assault allegations, she added to her post "The underage girl in this situation needs justice too".

A rep for Katie Price's ex told The Sun : "Kieran Hayler is seeking legal action in regards to the social media post made by Katie Price.

"For a woman that profusely professes to advocate mental health and anti trolling this is again somewhat contrary to 'the values' Miss Price claims to champion."

A source said: "Kieran sent Katie and her team a legal letter telling her to take the posts down as soon as they saw them.

“It's horrifying for Kieran and his family.”

They added: “She's taken it too far - Kieran is furious and has told her to stop right away - or face the consequences."

In the upsetting posts, Katie told her followers: “Omg, I watched this and can’t believe what this man did and brought back memories.”

Sussex Police said: “We are investigating a report that in 2016 a woman was raped by an adult male known to her at a location in West Sussex.

“No arrest has been made. The woman is receiving support from specially trained officers.”

Katie had also been due to face court on April 12 for allegedly breaching a restraining order, by reportedly contacting her via text message, but the date was moved back to April 27.

The latest drama comes after both Piers Morgan and Katie's ex husband Alex Reid openly criticised the reality stars 'car crash' life.

Piers opened the letter, writing: "I don’t know what’s going on with you, but as your friend for 20 years, I can’t bite my tongue any more about the way your chaotic life is going."

Signing off, he writes: "But right now, I’m finding it very hard to praise you for anything because everything you do and say these days smacks of someone who has jumped the shark from amusing entertainer to embarrassing train-wreck."

Alex agreed with Piers, saying: "Say what you want about me, I'm sure you will. But this lady needs some serious help. It is a car crash.

"I can say so many things about why Kate came into my life and there was a lot of pain and suffering. I've grown stronger out of that.

"It's important to be recognised and I totally and wholeheartedly agree with Mr Morgan that an intervention needs to happen because someone's really not right."
