Jeff Bezos house in Flatiron: Amazon CEO is reportedly buying $80 million NYC penthouse apartment

If you’re the CEO of Amazon, you can afford an $80 million penthouse apartment in Manhattan.

Well, actually, one penthouse apartment plus two additional units to add to it, making it one massive unit in one of Manhattan’s most desirable neighborhoods – Flatiron.

Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, is allegedly closing this $80 million deal for these three Flatiron units in the luxury 212 Fifth Avenue building. The unit is a three-story penthouse called, “The Crown,” and the two units Bezos purchased below it will turn the entire space into a 17,000-square-foot, 12-bedroom apartment with tons of outdoor terraces – a spacious dream for New York City dwellers.

As if the billionaire needed any more amenities, the building also boasts a 24-hour concierge, golf simulator, fitness center, screening room and game room. Still, we’re pretty sure Bezos could fit all those into his 17,000-square-foot space if he really wanted to.

Bezos and his family already own six properties across the U.S. including a 29,000-square-foot estate in Medina, Washington, a $24.45 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills (plus the mansion’s neighboring house for a little extra space), a 30,000-acre ranch in Van Horn, Texas and a $23 million home in Washington D.C.

If only he had a private jet to travel between all these properties at his leisure. Oh, wait...
